From the open seas to the freight lanes — a former seafarer turned Freight Virtual Assistant with real logistics DNA and the tools to back it up.
01 — About
I'm John Vincent Lobo, a Freight Virtual Assistant based in Bulacan, Philippines — with a background that most VAs simply don't have.
I spent 10 years as a seafarer working with some of the most respected names in global maritime operations.
During those years, I learned firsthand how global logistics, cargo compliance, and international maritime law actually work — not from a textbook, but from the deck of a ship. I was promoted to Quartermaster duties and recognized as "MSC Employee of the Month" (2022) out of the entire crew.
After transitioning ashore, I completed Export Documentation training at DCT Shipping & Logistics Services, handling end-to-end export declarations and real-time client communications. Now equipped with Freight VA Course 101 training, I bring a rare blend of field experience and virtual skills to every client.

05 — Why Me
10 years on international vessels with BSM, MSC Cruises, and PTC means I understand cargo compliance and international maritime law at a level most VAs never will.
Trained on actual carrier portals — ESTES, TForce, Old Dominion, FedEx. Your workflow won't slow down for me to catch up.
Navigating international waters under strict regulations builds a discipline that carries directly into freight deadlines, dispatches, and zero-error documentation.
Client coordination, carrier updates, conflict resolution — managed under real operational pressure and brought into every remote engagement.
Certified in dangerous cargo handling — a rare edge for freight brokers dealing with specialized shipments requiring compliance-aware support.
Safety compliance at sea means zero room for error. That mindset translates into accurate data entry, clean documentation, and reliable follow-through.
